HSBC Private Banking Holdings (Switzerland) SA is the principal holding company for HSBC Private Bank’s private banking.  HSBC Private Banking Holdings (Switzerland) comprises all HSBC’s Private Banking entities world-wide, Guyerzeller Bank and the private banking activities of HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt.

In 1991, HSBC Holdings plc was established as the parent company of HSBC. HSBC Holdings’ plc. includes all the groups undertakings and subsidiaries.

HSBC holdings acquired the CCF in July 2000. The acquisition has enabled HSBC to establish a strong position in the European market.
