Europe’s leaders have undertaken to set at 20% the proportion of renewable resources used in generating electricity by 2020.
Regulatory measures encouraging investment in solar power makes it of particular interest to investors since EDF is undertaking to buy back electricity at a preferential rate for the next 20 years.
These regulations mean that photovoltaic energy producers can expect a good return on their investment.
