Merger of Grande Europe, European Union Fund and New Europe Small Caps as at April 17th, 2009.
Grande Europe is becoming HSBC Private Wealth Managers’ European equity growth fund.
Its investment universe, the European Union, proposes the development of a broad, diversified investment. The fund is not restricted to this universe, however, which opens the door to investing in Eastern Europe as the economic climate evolves.
The fund is managed by an experienced fund manager who performs an initial selection after a screening process based on growth in revenue and earnings, followed by a more qualitative selection based on the company’s positioning, debt and management.
The fund manager aims for broad diversification with a view to generating more consistent performances from a sectorial, geographic and capital point of view.
Grande Europe is the latest addition to HSBC Private Wealth Managers’ range of European equity funds.
